From Mass Ratios to a Wave-Based Theory of Everything

For more than a year, this blog remained largely inactive. Its original purpose was very focused: to present calculations of the proton/electron and neutron/electron mass ratios, with a precision that I found remarkable—approximately seven and six significant figures, respectively.

Since then, the work has developed considerably.

Beginning in 2025, I published a series of preprints developing a broader theoretical framework in which the electron/proton mass ratio is no longer an isolated numerical result, but one of the consequences of a proposed underlying physical structure of Space, matter, motion, and energy.

The articles below document the development of this approach. They address, among other subjects, the geometric and wave-based structure of space, the origin of particle masses, inertial and gravitational mass, relativistic kinematics, quantum non-locality, nuclear structure, cosmology, galactic dynamics, and the possibility of experimentally testing the underlying physical model.

I am therefore adding this reference page to the blog so that the original mass-ratio work can be viewed in the context of the subsequent theoretical developments.

## From the Original Mass-Ratio Calculation to the Larger Framework

The original calculations that motivated this blog were concerned with a striking numerical question: whether the observed proton/electron and neutron/electron mass ratios could be derived rather than simply taken as empirical constants.

The subsequent work explores the possibility that these mass ratios are connected to a deeper description of physical reality—one in which space possesses physical properties and where matter, inertia, gravitation, electromagnetic phenomena, and quantum behavior emerge from wave interactions within that underlying medium.

How the Papers Fit Together:

Each paper presents only a partial view of the overall theory, which is too broad to be described adequately in a single article. The papers are mutually consistent and deeply interconnected through the cross-references in their bibliographies. The relevance and explanatory scope of the theory cannot be fully appreciated by considering any one paper in isolation: it emerges progressively as the successive articles address a wide range of long-standing paradoxes, unexplained observations, and fundamental mysteries in Physics and Astrophysics. Each new contribution develops another piece of the same underlying framework, while connecting it to the results established in the preceding papers.
